well, do you use conditioner? that really helps to get your hair soft and gets rid of the oil... i've used conditioner my whole life and, only when i run out of conditioner don't have time to condition, only shampoo, is when my hair is oily.

yes, conditioner really helps. also if u have oily hair if u really want to help it then wash it every day in the morning and blow dry it. hope this helps! Ask me if u have any more questions! (if u do, plz send me a personal message, it's easier that way) -Candycat51

also leave-in conditioner helps... just shower in the morning shampoo, conditioner and then the leave-in conditioner (make sure you read the directions on the back. different brands have different amounts of time)...
another thing that helps is to shampoo your hair, wash it out, put in conditioner and leave it in untill your done with soaping and shaving or whatever else and then wash it out. and make sure you scrub it (both shampoo and conditioner) in real well into your roots all the way to the tips of your hair.
hope this helps!!

Hi okay what i used to do (ive gotten rid of my oily hair) is take shampoo and wash first the very top of your hair where the hairline is and if its very bubbly then ur hair is greasy so wash it out and do that again. after the 2nd time wash out the shampoo on ur hairline and just wash ur hair out.then conditition JUST the bottom tips of ur hair and comb it in the shower. blow drying really helps too and also dont touch ur hair that much, it makes it super greasy hope i helped -Isab3ll

i agree with most of these girls definitely use conditioner and wash your hair every day...perhaps twice a day if it fits your schedule. Get a shampoo for normal to oily hair so it will keep your hair from getting even oilier. Don't touch your hair with greasy fingers and even get a recommendation from a doctor on what products will help. Hope this helps! PS: When you sleep, tie your hair up to prevent your hair from touching your face and making it oily.
