Really, getting your period shouldn't affect you all that much. You should keep doing everything you were before. It can be a little scary at first, but then, you get used to it. Once your period is regular, a lot of girls can expect the exact day that they get their period...but right now, just be prepared when you are getting close to that time. Lol... Like this past week, I was at my high school's Air Force Jr. R.O.T.C. camp, and both me and my friend Stefany got our period on the same day at the same time..lol..we were changing after P.T. But since we were prepared, and were expecting our periods, we were ready. And that's really all there is to it. Just be ready for it. And if you are, just get through those few days, and it will be over. And don't stress over whether or not there is a spot on the back of your pants all day. That will make it obvious if you are always trying to hide the back of your pants or are always checking...just check every once in a while.
